Board Breaking

We recently tested in Tae Kwon Do. The boys both received another stripe at dan bo nim testing and Scott, Ceci and myself both received new belts. I have video of Scott breaking his first board. It took him a couple of tries, but he finally got it. I had to break three boards for my dan bo nim testing. Ceci broke her board so fast with her hand that we didn't get it on video. She was just too fast:)

I decided to call our blog the ghoulish Gibbys because we just love halloween. My kids are already planning how to decorate our house and planning halloween crafts and treats for October. We are a little strange...:) We saw that the Spirit Halloween store will open Sept. 12 at the strip mall off Palmer and I-35 (right next to Super Target). My kids can't wait, although, my pocketbook can:) The Family Fun magazine had some great ideas as usual for costumes, crafts and treats. Can't wait to try them out.
